George (Mike) Bradford   contact info
President

Mike Bradford, ASA, owns a full-service appraisal firm located in Huntington Beach, California. He received his ASA designation in 1978. He started as a security analyst with a major west coast bank, first as a Public Utility Analyst then as Chief Oil Analyst.

His firm provides financial analysis, court testimony, and appraisal services for individuals, corporations, and United States federal government agencies. His firm values businesses, patents, leases, leasehold interests, and other tangible and intangible assets. He also values partnership interests and their underlying assets. He has an MBA from Stanford University.

Mr. Bradford served as president of the Los Angeles Chapter from 1999-2000, having held all other officer positions in prior years. He is currently serving on the Los Angeles Chapter Governing Body and has chaired many committees over the years.

His goal for the Chapter is to continue offering excellent programs for each discipline, assist members with advancement, encourage member’s participation in Chapter events, and help keep the Chapter informed of key legislative and ASA international issues.



Martin O'Donnell   contact info
Senior Vice President

Martin T. O'Donnell, ASA (Appraisal Review and Management) is interdisciplinary valuation practitioner focusing at the intersection of Business Valuation and Commercial Real Estate Appraisal, including realty-intensive operating businesses, realty investment entities, "Going Concern" property and special-purpose property. He is also experienced in market studies, feasibility analysis and statistical valuation analysis and modeling. 

Martin has performed valuations on behalf of financial institutions, private investors, pension funds, municipalities, owner/users of commercial property (both public and private companies), trusts, executors and the FDIC for purposes of asset monitoring, loan underwriting, financial reporting, tax reporting, development planning, economic development analysis, asset management and estate and gift planning. 

Martin holds an M.S. Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is currently a Vice President and Review Appraiser at MUFG Union Bank, and served as Treasurer (2014-2015) and Secretary (2015-2016) of the LA Chapter of ASA. 



Daren Mesrobian   contact info
Vice President

Daren J. Mesrobian (Business Valuation) is the President of Vineyard Capital Advisors, a full service financial consulting firm providing valuation and advisory services. He has provided valuations, solvency and fairness opinions, and other advisory services to public and private clients in connection with strategic alternative assessments, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, going private transactions and capital-raising activities to hundreds of clients in a wide range of industries.

Daren currently serves as Treasurer of the ASA’s Los Angeles Chapter, and was previously co-chair of the Chapter’s business valuation committee. Daren was previously an Associate at Houlihan Lokey, in the firm’s financial advisory services group. Daren received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

Paul Drooks, ASA is an independent Personal Property appraiser.  He has served the chapter as President and multiple terms as  Vice-President. He is currently a member of the International Personal Property Committee.

Mr.John A. Thomson (BSME/MBA) has over 38 years of valuation consulting experience. Mr. Thomson is designated as a Senior Appraiser, ASA, in business valuations and intangible assets, holds a MBA in Finance, he has his MAI in real estate and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California. In addition, Mr. Thomson has his undergraduate degree in engineering and has been a speaker on numerous valuation topics to various groups in Southern California, CPA firms, Estate Planning Associations and law firms. He has testified extensively as an expert witness on valuation related cases.
